This qualification is a non-tiered qualification (there is no foundation / higher tier) designed for GCSE students who want an opportunity to challenge themselves by building on the KS4 GCSE curriculum. It is intended to be taken alongside GCSE Mathematics designed to cover the areas of algebra and geometry in greater depth. View a more in-depth explanation here

There are 6 main subject areas in this qualification which are assessed across 2 papers taken during an exam series at the end of the course in a linear structure.

It is important to understand that this course mostly develops on all prior knowledge from GCSE Mathematics. Most of the topic you find in the list below will definetely be repeated but be sure to go through them as the questions you find in the exam will be much harder than typical GCSE exam questions. It is vital that you are able to manipulate all your knowledge from GCSE to answer questions in the correct and most efficient way possible.
